Marlins Park Parking
Marlins Park Parking Map
The Marlins parking situation can either be pretty simple, or a real nightmare depending on who you talk to. The team's official lots, pictured to the left, are generally for people who pre-pay only. The cost of parking at Marlins Park is about $15 typically. However, pre-paying through the team at this price would not be my first option. If you want to go that route, ask about buying parking when you buy your tickets or simply buy parking on the Marlins' website.
Park Whiz is a site that I always check first. This website lets you pre-pay and reserve a spot ahead of time so you can cut out some of the stress and guesswork when it comes to finding a spot, and typically it comes at a cheaper price that going with the Marlins' official parking. Certainly that isn't a bad option. Check it out here.
There is a complimentary city of Miami trolley available, which picks up a Civic Center station, about a mile from the ballpark. This may be a convenient option until the parking situation is more settled around the ballpark.
Another thing you can do is take the Miami Dade shuttle to Marlins Park. The idea is that you park at any Metrorail station (parking is about $4), and from there you take the Metro Rail to Culmer Station. At Culmer Station they run a bus back and forth to the Marlins' game. They recommend buying a $5 1 day pass, which will save you a few bucks on the combination of shuttle and metrorail trips. Another choice is to take the Metrorail to Civic Center Station, and from there the city of Miami offers a free shuttle to Marlins Park. More information here.
