The Cain's Father/Son Trip 2010
In 2008 my dad and I embarked on a memorable baseball journey. In the final year at Yankee Stadium, the most significant sporting venue in the world, we took in all 3 interleague games of the Reds vs. the Yanks. For the record, we took 2 out of 3.
The trip also included our first stop at Fenway Park, Shea Stadium, Progressive Field, and the Baseball Hall of Fame. In total, the trip covered 8 days and tons of miles. At the time of the trip ballparksavvy.com did not exist. In fact, my research for the trip was what convinced me that there was a need for a site just like this. There are plenty of ballpark sites that tell you when the place opened, seating capacity, and other useless information; but I would like to think this site is different. It gives you just information you need to know to go to your favorite stadium and save a few dollars doing it. |
As an encore, Dad and I are taking a 5 day baseball trip in 2010. This page is going to document our itinerary in case my readers what to know 'how I roll'. For the specific steps you should follow to plan a baseball road trip, click here.
